Had a great breakfast they gave plenty condiments and didn't mess up order

Great food reasonable prices, but a bit slow

I love this place! As far as truck stop cafes go, it's the best. The menu is full of delicious and authentic Cajun dishes, the over stuffed shrimp poeboy and the gumbo are local favorites. The catfish has always been fried right and delicious and my kids love the shrimp fettuccini. Nothing here has ever disappointed me. They only reason I gave it 4 Stars was, well, it's not a 5 🌟 restaurant, but close enough for me. Oh and check out the gas station next door, they have a lot of unique and interesting gifts. 😉

The amount of food you get is unbelievable! And so tasty. The waitresses are very friendly and the cost of the food is VERY comparable. Out it this way: hubby and I shared a fried shrimp and fried fish, homemade fries, today and 2 drinks and a salad for under $15. You just can't beat that!!!! And we both had plenty..

Its wonderful. Talk about one stop shop. You can eat, drink while relaxing in a cool comfortable atmosphere, use tge restroom that's always clean,, buy gifts if your traveling, purchase drinks to go snacks and get has and cigarettes

Friendly staff and good food. We got 20 Boudin links, they were spicy and delicious. We had another 3 hours on our drive home so we asked for extra empty To Go containers (to use as plates in the car) and the To Go lady was more than happy to accommodate us.

For sure one of the best poor boy shrimp sandwiches for the money they call it over stuff. And a very good breakfast

Decent food. But long wait often times. I like the shrimp and catfish poboys.

Because it's a big convenience stop and there is a lot of things to buy,and it a convenient place to buy gas and other things.

Depending on who is cooking, the food can be great. Always check your to go orders before leaving. Have gotten undercooked and greasy food.

It's a shame at 10:30 pm I can't order 2 eggs, 3 slices of bacon with toast. It's called a breakfast and not severed on this shift.....

Bourbon Street Deli and Restaurant is a great place to meet friendly people The Atmosphere I'd so like you know everybody . The food is fantastic and the prices are reasonable. Plenty cajun food too. Go and enjoy.

Me and my brother in law just each had a seafood platter for 18.99 each . Neither one of us enjoyed eating the seafood . The fish was overcooked , the fried oysters tasted old , the stuffed shrimp and stuffed crab were both well below tastefull .My brother in law did not want to complain to anyone there but swore he would never eat at BOURBON STREET AGAIN. He lives in WALKER LA. but I do live in Jennings and was totally embarased to have recommended your restaurant to him at all.

It was good. Order the shrimp poboy and you get a lot of shrimp with your bread 😄

The food is very good always did takeout so I don't know how the service is but the cashier is friendly

We've been stopping in here for lunch for years on our way along I-10 to Baton Rouge or New Orleans. They don't have our favorite on the menu any more ( a overloaded shrimp poboy which an Etouffe' topping) but fortunately they still serve the poboy loaded with so many shrimp you have to eat about half of them before you can fold the poboy closed. For the early morning I-10 trips this is a good bathroom break and they have a great coffee bar.

I always get the shrimp poboy. The shrimp are seasoned with a Cajun seasoning. Its very good and you get a lot of shrimp on it.

Had to wait a while for some of our food but everything else was great.

I ordered a roast beef poboy. Instead of roast beef, I ended up with chopped meat with GRAVY! Not at all what I wanted or ordered. I went to talk to the waitress to order something else when she told me she should have asked which one instead of assuming I wanted the more popular version of that poboy. It doesn't say on the menu that the roast beef comes with the thick, gloppy, fake gravy that was on mine. I thought the roast beef was the sliced roast beef. I won't be eating there again. The food has gone down so much, it's just not worth it....

Waitress was GREAT! Good order was ok except overcooked eggs. Would have given more starts but they sent my reporter eggs out after my food was gone

Today was very busy, and I do realize that it takes a minute or two to be waited on, BUT I've worked in the restaurant as a cook and as a supervisor as well. When you have a couple that orders the Lunch of the day, the majority of the food is already done, meaning mash potatoes, vegetables, dessert, roll, so all you had to do was drop the pork chops. So we shouldn't have to wait as long as a table with 12 people, so yep we left. I think they need some training. 2 people would eat faster than a larger table even if they got there after, that's my opinion, maybe the flow of running a kitchen and dining area has changed. And I am not taking away from the food in the past being good, and when there are not a lot of people there you do get your food fast, but again I personally think the flow and the way things are done should be evaluated differently!

I ordered a 6 inch grilled oyster poboy and got 6 oysters not even enough for the sandwich that is just ridiculous 😡

Best shrimp poboys around(Overstuffed!). Staff has always been friendly, and attentive, so these comments stating otherwise kind of baffle me.
